The moment you step through our grand Edwardian doors at Sutton Coldfield Town Hall, you'll understand why so many events find their perfect home here. We've been welcoming guests since the early 1900s, and while we've carefully preserved our architectural heritage, we've thoughtfully integrated everything modern events require. Our crown jewel, the Vesey Ballroom, draws people from across Birmingham - and it's not just the capacity of 427 guests that impresses them. It's the spring beneath their feet as they dance on North Birmingham's largest traditional sprung maple floor. Wedding parties particularly love how the adjacent Vesey Lounge flows naturally from the ballroom, giving their guests extra space to mingle during receptions. For board meetings and smaller celebrations, we often recommend the Crush Hall. The original stained glass windows cast beautiful patterns across the room throughout the day, and the majestic fireplace becomes a natural focal point for groups of up to 60. Meanwhile, our Bedford Suite carries its own character - the 1950s ambiance here works brilliantly for everything from training sessions to birthday parties, comfortably hosting 70 guests. We've made sure everyone can enjoy our spaces. Wheelchair users have their own dedicated entrances and seating areas throughout the building, and being right in the town center means the train station is just a short walk away. Our PA systems and lighting rigs are ready to support your presentations or performances. Whether you're organizing a conference, planning your wedding reception, hosting a theatrical performance, or bringing the community together for a special cause, we provide the setting and support to make it happen.
