À propos de The Boathouse London - Paddington East
The gentle sway of the water sets the rhythm for every gathering at The Boathouse London - Paddington East. We've transformed this elegant boat into something special - a floating venue right in Paddington Basin that brings a different energy to parties and celebrations. Our space holds up to 30 guests, which we've found creates just the right atmosphere for those memorable nights out. The boat's interior flows naturally from bow to stern, with windows wrapping around to frame the canal views. When the sun sets and the basin lights reflect on the water, the whole space takes on this warm glow that cameras love but never quite capture. We handle everything from relaxed brunches to full five-course dinners, with our kitchen team crafting menus specifically for each event. Some hosts prefer our cocktail reception setup - guests moving freely around the boat, drinks in hand, while the city floats by outside. Others go for seated dinners where everyone's together around our tables. We stock a full bar, though you're welcome to bring your own bottles for a corkage fee if you've got specific wines or spirits in mind. For groups wanting something different before their main event, we offer a self-driven picnic boat that fits eight people. You can motor up towards Little Venice and Regents Park, then return to us for dinner. It's become a popular addition to birthday celebrations and team gatherings. Being moored just minutes from Paddington station means your guests won't struggle to find us, and the basin location gives us this pocket of calm despite being so central. We've hosted everything from product launches where brands use our deck space to supper clubs that run late into the evening. Each party brings its own character to the boat, and we shape our service around what you're planning.
