Our 1877 cattle barn sits on 150 acres of private parkland in Glencarse, where weathered stone walls and original timber beams create the perfect backdrop for your celebration. Just ten minutes from Perth, The Byre at Inchyra gives you the Scottish countryside experience while keeping your guests within easy reach of Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Edinburgh Airport. Step inside and you'll find reclaimed maple wood floors that have developed their own character over time, paired with the warm glow from our modern lighting systems. We've kept the building's agricultural heritage intact—those massive stone walls and soaring timber roofs tell their own story—while adding everything you need for a proper party. The Upper and Lower Byre can host 160 of your friends and family for dinner, expanding to 200 when the dancing starts. For more intimate gatherings, our Stable Room provides a cosy space that works beautifully for smaller celebrations. The real magic happens when you venture outside. Our Walled Garden features an Apple Tree Aisle that transforms any gathering into something special, while the wider estate grounds give you room to spread out and create different atmospheres throughout your event. We provide exclusive use of the entire property, so you won't be sharing the space with anyone else. When the party winds down, your guests can stay right here in our two self-catering cottages or the Stable Yard Suite. We've also got camping facilities for the more adventurous types. Our fully equipped catering kitchen handles everything from casual buffets to formal dinners, backed by sound systems that fill the barn without overwhelming conversation.
