We're The Coffin Works, a Grade II* listed museum in the Jewellery Quarter where Newman Brothers once crafted coffin furniture for over a century. Our meeting room sits within the original factory building, accommodating up to 18 people around our boardroom table. The space combines preserved industrial features with modern meeting essentials - we've installed WiFi throughout, a projector and screen for presentations, plus whiteboards and flipcharts for brainstorming sessions. Natural light filters through the original windows, illuminating the authentic Victorian workshop details that make concentration easier than in sterile modern offices. When you need a break, step into our enclosed courtyard where up to 75 people can gather for networking or informal discussions. The brick walls and industrial architecture create an atmosphere that sparks creativity - quite different from typical corporate venues. We can arrange catering for your meeting, from working lunches to coffee breaks, all served in spaces where craftsmen once shaped brass and pressed velvet. Our central Birmingham location means Snow Hill station is just a short walk away, connecting you to trains from across the Midlands. We hold licenses for both live music and alcohol sales, so your meeting can transition into an evening reception if needed. The versatile layout works equally well for training sessions, presentations, conferences or collaborative workshops. Working within these historic walls adds something intangible to meetings - perhaps it's the reminder that great work takes time and craftsmanship, values the Newman Brothers understood when they operated here for 120 years.
