We've been pouring pints in this historic Nottingham building for over 200 years, and these days we're known just as much for our private party space upstairs as we are for our craft beer selection downstairs. Our main pub features those original high ceilings and wooden floorboards that give the place its character. Natural light streams through the windows during afternoon gatherings, while evenings bring a warm glow from our traditional lighting. The real gem for private events is our upstairs function room. We've named it after Alice in Wonderland, and it maintains all the wood-panelled charm you'd expect from a British pub while giving you the privacy your party needs. Whether you're planning a milestone birthday bash, a wedding anniversary celebration, or even a more relaxed business gathering, this separate space lets you and your guests enjoy yourselves without competing with the regular pub crowd below. Our kitchen serves up proper British food - think fish and chips, hearty burgers, and traditional sausage and mash. We can arrange party platters or a full menu for your event, and we're happy to accommodate children with our dedicated kids' menu.
