Every Friday and Saturday night, The Defector's Weld transforms into West London's favorite weekend spot when The Deckheads take over our DJ booth. We're right at 170 Uxbridge Road in Shepherd's Bush, just minutes from White City and Shepherd's Bush stations on the Central Line, plus Shepherd's Bush Market and Wood Lane on the Hammersmith and City lines. You'll find us practically next door to Westfield and the Shepherd's Bush Empire. Our recent refurbishment completely reimagined the space - the glass-roofed courtyard is where most people end up spending their evening. We've filled it with trellised plants climbing up the walls, oversized mirrors that catch the light, and those vintage-style bulbs that give everything a warm glow once the sun sets. The courtyard works brilliantly for semi-private gatherings too. Upstairs, we've created a completely separate area with its own bar that works perfectly for meetings during the day or parties at night. We can fit 50 people seated comfortably, or up to 100 if you're planning a standing reception. Your group gets their own bartender, so no queuing at the main bar downstairs. Our kitchen serves up proper pub food with a twist - think saucy wings and beef brisket alongside our craft beer selection. We've got hoppy ales for the IPA crowd and rich stouts for those who prefer something darker. Beyond our weekend DJs, we host comedy nights and we're one of the main venues for the annual Bushstock festival. Whether you're booking our upstairs space for a work function, taking over the courtyard for a birthday party, or planning a wedding reception, we've got the flexibility to make it work. Being at the center of Shepherd's Bush nightlife means there's always energy here, especially on weekends.
