The Grove Newcastle transforms from a professional meeting space by day into one of the east end's most atmospheric cocktail bars by night. We've created something special in this converted industrial building where Byker meets the Ouseburn Valley - a space that works just as well for corporate presentations as it does for evening entertainment. Our upstairs area accommodates up to 100 seated delegates, though we can arrange different configurations depending on your needs. For theatre-style presentations, we can fit 180 seats, while roundtable setups work perfectly for 80 attendees. The projector and large screen connect seamlessly with our impressive PA system - the same L'Acoustics setup that powers our 350-capacity music hall downstairs. During meeting hours, natural light floods through the industrial windows while our team ensures your refreshments are sorted. We handle catering requests in-house, from working lunches to coffee breaks. The relaxed atmosphere helps people actually engage rather than counting down to lunch. Beyond the main meeting space, delegates often use our bar area for networking - we've got 16 taps and comfortable seating that encourages conversation. Our outdoor terrace and courtyard provide breathing space between sessions, particularly appreciated during longer training days or product exhibitions. Getting here couldn't be simpler. We're at 1 St Michael's Road in Byker, just a short walk from Byker Metro station with several bus routes stopping nearby. The building is fully accessible throughout, and we welcome service dogs at all times. We've hosted everything from tech company away days to creative agency brainstorms, pharmaceutical training sessions to charity AGMs. Our cocktail lounge setup means evening events can transition smoothly from professional presentations to more relaxed networking, making us particularly popular for product launches and company celebrations that run into the evening.
