Our main auditorium fills with 350 people during sold-out performances, while the Andy Hamilton Studio creates an intimate setting for 120 guests - these spaces at Legacy Centre of Excellence have become the heartbeat of Birmingham's creative community. From our base at 144 Potters Lane in Aston, we've built Europe's largest Black-owned business and arts centre, where local entrepreneurs work alongside international artists every day. The building spans two floors, each designed with our community in mind. Business owners rent offices on the upper level, while our coworking hub buzzes with freelancers and start-ups sharing ideas over coffee. Down in the café-bar, you'll find workshop participants taking a break between sessions, discussing everything from STEM education to their latest creative projects. We've equipped our multimedia production suite with professional recording facilities where local musicians lay down tracks that end up on international playlists. The exhibition spaces transform monthly - one week showcasing photography from local students, the next hosting fashion designers preparing for their runway shows. Our conference rooms handle everything from corporate board meetings to wedding receptions, with our technical team ensuring presentations run smoothly on our AV systems. Working with the Arts Council and Birmingham City Council helps us keep our educational courses accessible and our cultural festivals representative of Aston's diverse community.
