Eight screens filled with everything from Marvel blockbusters to Royal Opera House broadcasts make The Light Cinema Walsall a surprisingly versatile party venue. Our recent refurbishment transformed the space along the historic canal into something special for private events. Each of our eight digital screens offers luxury VIP seating - think wide, reclining seats with plenty of legroom rather than cramped rows. The smallest screen holds 88 guests for more intimate celebrations, while our largest accommodates 243 people when you need to go big. We're right in the heart of Walsall with paid parking directly outside and just a 5-8 minute walk from Walsall station, plus direct motorway links make it easy for out-of-town guests. What makes parties here different is the flexibility. Book a private screening of the latest releases for a birthday bash, or use our semi-private meeting spaces for pre-party gatherings. Our fully licensed bar means drinks can flow throughout your event, and yes, you can take them into the screening rooms. The Green Room serves handmade pizzas, desserts, wines and beers - proper food rather than just popcorn and fizzy drinks. We've become known for our inclusive approach too. Our autism-friendly and dementia-friendly screenings mean everyone can enjoy the cinema experience, and this extends to private events.
