We've been pulling pints at The Long Barn since this 17th-century building first welcomed locals through its doors. The original timber beams still stretch overhead, and that same rustic warmth fills every corner of our pub here on Cippenham Lane in Slough. Our sunny beer patio draws quite the crowd when the weather's nice - there's room to spread out while you enjoy a drink from our extensive selection. We stock premium lagers, draft and bottled ciders, an impressive collection of malt whiskies, and specialty gins paired with Fever-Tree tonics. Even our resident pub cat Barney might wander over to say hello (dogs are welcome too, and we keep water bowls topped up for four-legged visitors). The upstairs function room has become our most versatile space. It holds up to 60 people standing or 35 seated, making it just right for birthday celebrations, wedding receptions, baby showers, wakes, and after-work gatherings. We only ask for a small refundable deposit - no minimum spend required. The room's character matches the rest of the pub, with those same period features that make The Long Barn special. Throughout the week, we keep things lively with live music nights, DJ sets, and open mic sessions. Sports fans gather round our large screens for match days, and when summer arrives, we fire up the BBQ out back. Our regulars tell us it's this mix of entertainment and that genuine community pub feeling that keeps them coming back. Whether you're planning a Christmas party in our function room or just dropping by for a quiet pint on the terrace, we've maintained that welcoming atmosphere that's been part of The Long Barn for centuries.
