Stone steps lead up to The Mansion House at Kirkhill, where we've been hosting celebrations since this Grade B listed estate became available for exclusive hire. Just 9 miles from Edinburgh City Centre, our 18th-century property sits on four acres filled with over 3,000 mature trees, with the North Esk River running alongside the grounds. We accommodate parties from 8 to 34 overnight guests across 12 bedrooms - each one decorated differently. The bridal suite overlooks the gardens, while our mix of king-size, twin, triple and family rooms means everyone finds their perfect spot. Morning coffee on the terrace often comes with deer wandering past, and you'll hear songbirds throughout the day. Our Grand Hall works brilliantly for drinks receptions with up to 70 guests, while the Dining Room seats 42 comfortably for formal meals. When the weather's good, we open the French doors onto the lawn where marquees extend your party space into the gardens. The Pentland Hills create a stunning backdrop for photographs, especially during golden hour. The hot tub gets plenty of use during hen parties and stag weekends - it's tucked away in the garden for privacy. Our games room sees competitive pool tournaments most evenings, and the fully equipped kitchen handles everything from midnight snacks to three-course dinners. We've got high-speed internet throughout if anyone needs to stay connected.
