Our Grade II listed building has been welcoming guests to Greenwich for generations, and we've carefully maintained that historic character while adding everything modern meetings and celebrations need. The Mitre sits just a short walk from the Cutty Sark and Royal Observatory, with Cutty Sark Station practically on our doorstep. We have two distinct spaces for hire. Our Conservatory fills with natural light through its glass panels and comfortably seats 28 people for presentations or workshops, though we can fit 35 if you're hosting drinks and networking. The wooden beams and traditional pub features create a relaxed atmosphere that helps conversations flow naturally. For smaller groups, our dedicated Meeting Room works brilliantly for board meetings or training sessions, seating 15 comfortably or accommodating 25 for standing receptions. We've equipped it with full audiovisual facilities - projector, screen, and sound system all ready to go. Beyond the meeting spaces, we're a fully functioning pub with 24 en-suite bedrooms upstairs. Each room has free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and proper Hypnos beds - useful if you're bringing colleagues from out of town. Our kitchen serves traditional British dishes using seasonal ingredients, and our bar stocks everything from local craft beers to artisan spirits. The beer garden out back provides a peaceful spot for informal discussions or post-meeting drinks. Our events team handles the practical details - room layouts, catering menus, equipment setup. We can arrange working lunches, coffee breaks, or full dinner service depending on what your day requires. The combination of our central Greenwich location, flexible spaces, and on-site accommodation means we regularly host everything from corporate away days to birthday celebrations, team training sessions to retirement parties.
