Step through the grand doors of The Orangery, Holland Park and you'll find yourself in what was once Lord and Lady Holland's summer ballroom from 1849. We're fortunate to host celebrations in this remarkable glass and stone building, where daylight pours through the historic windows from dawn until dusk. Our venue sits within Holland Park's 22.5 hectares of gardens and woodland. The fragrant rose garden lies just outside our doors, and many guests take a moment to wander through it before their event begins. The nearby Kyoto Garden, with its Japanese-style landscape, provides another peaceful spot for photographs or quiet conversation during your celebration. We accommodate various party sizes throughout the year. For wedding ceremonies, we can seat up to 120 guests, while seated dinners work beautifully with 80 people. Standing receptions allow us to welcome up to 150 guests comfortably. The natural acoustics of the space make it perfect for live acoustic performances, though we don't permit DJs or dancing to preserve the building's historic character. As a dry hire venue, we work with approved suppliers who know the space well. They'll arrange all your furniture, catering, and equipment needs. Our location near High Street Kensington and Holland Park Underground stations means your guests can easily reach us from anywhere in London. The Orangery particularly suits wedding ceremonies, corporate gatherings, and private celebrations where the focus is on conversation, dining, and enjoying the surroundings. The combination of our heritage architecture, the abundance of natural light, and the park setting creates an atmosphere that feels both special and relaxed.
