Right from the castle walls, we're The Queen & Castle—your neighborhood pub that's been completely transformed with a £700,000 makeover in August 2022. Our windows frame Kenilworth Castle perfectly, and it's this view that inspired our entire redesign, from the royal purple accents to the traditional wallpapers that echo the castle's grand history. Our main dining room flows naturally into the bar area, where local real ales sit alongside carefully chosen wines. The private dining room upstairs fits 12 people comfortably—we've hosted everything from birthday dinners to small wedding parties there. Outside, our terrace and garden stretch out with fixed seating and a clever stretch tent that keeps the space usable even when British weather has other ideas. We're set up for parties of all kinds. Corporate groups book our spaces for relaxed meetings over lunch, while evenings see birthday celebrations spilling onto the terrace. Sunday brings families for our roast dinners, with kids welcome to explore the garden while parents linger over coffee. Dogs join their owners for drinks on the patio, and our free Wi-Fi means some guests turn afternoon meetings into productive working sessions. Our kitchen serves everything from quick plates to share over drinks to proper three-course meals. The menu changes with the seasons—summer might bring fresh salads and grilled fish, while winter calls for hearty pies and warming puddings. We work with local suppliers where we can, and our chefs are happy to accommodate dietary requirements for party bookings.
