The Royal College of Ophthalmologists at 18 Stephenson Way provides specialized meeting and training facilities that medical professionals and academic organizations regularly rely on for their educational programs. We're positioned right in the heart of Euston, with Warren Street, Euston Square, and Euston stations all within easy walking distance. Our Lecture Theatre hosts up to 60 delegates and features three HD LED screens that ensure clear visibility from every seat. The built-in Cisco HD camera system allows us to record presentations and training sessions for future reference. For smaller gatherings, our Council Room accommodates 40 people around the boardroom table, where four 55" LED screens and our Sennheiser microphone system create an environment perfect for video conferences and collaborative discussions. What sets us apart is our Skills Centre - a dedicated microsurgical training facility with 12 individual microscope workstations. Each station connects to a central teaching console, enabling instructors to demonstrate techniques while participants practice hands-on. The recording capabilities at each workstation mean trainees can review their work and instructors can provide detailed feedback. Our adjacent Training Room seats 12 participants (we can expand this to 20 when needed) and includes a 65" LED screen for presentations and group discussions. We've designed every space with accessibility in mind. Step-free access throughout the building, disabled-access toilets on each floor, and dedicated facilities for assistance dogs ensure all attendees can participate comfortably. Our catering team provides refreshments and meals tailored to your event requirements, from working lunches to formal dinner receptions.
