Behind the pink neon glow and copper bar that have drawn London's night owls since 1965, we keep The Scotch of St. James running just as it should - with that same electric energy that once welcomed Jimi Hendrix for his first UK performance. Our ground floor draws you in with its speakeasy feel, where up to 80 guests gather around the copper bar that catches the light just right. The real magic happens when you head downstairs to our basement club - we've kept the original decadent feel with plush seating circling the LED dance floor, plus our DJ booth and stage that's hosted countless performers over the decades. We can fit 120 guests down here, and trust us, when the sound system kicks in (we've invested heavily in keeping it cutting-edge), everyone feels it. We're tucked away at 13 Masons Yard in St. James's, that little corner just minutes from both Piccadilly Circus and Green Park station. The location works brilliantly - central enough that everyone can find us, but hidden away enough to feel like you're in on a secret. Our kitchen team handles everything from halal and kosher to vegan and gluten-free options, though we're happy to work with external caterers if you've got something specific in mind. The lighting system adapts to whatever mood you're after - we've seen it all, from corporate product launches that need things bright and professional to birthday parties where the lights stay low and the music stays loud until our 5am licence runs out. The space transforms depending on what you need - private dinners, art exhibitions, live music showcases, office parties. Two floors, 200 total capacity, and nearly six decades of stories in these walls.
