Our building catches your eye with its traditional Welsh character mixed with contemporary touches, and from our terrace, you get front-row views of the castle while you eat. We're open every day for breakfast through dinner, and our kitchen works with Welsh farms and suppliers to get the best ingredients. The lamb comes from local valleys, vegetables arrive fresh from nearby growers, and everything gets cooked simply but well. Our bar stocks Welsh ales and spirits alongside the usual favorites, and yes, your dog is welcome to join you in the bar area or out on the terrace. For dining events, we've got two private spaces that work brilliantly. The Pommery Private Mezzanine fits 24 people comfortably - it's tucked away upstairs with its own atmosphere. The Welsh House Event Room handles bigger gatherings up to 150 guests, whether that's a wedding breakfast, corporate dinner, or birthday celebration. Both rooms come with dedicated service and we'll work with you on the menu. Our regular "Taste of Wales" evenings bring together Welsh food, drink, poetry and song - they're proper cultural experiences that show what modern Wales is about. Being this close to the Principality Stadium means match days get lively, but we keep tables for walk-ins alongside bookings. We're independent and regional, which means decisions get made here, menus reflect what's actually available from our suppliers, and our team knows the story behind every dish.
