À propos de Tonteria
Picture this: you're steps away from Sloane Square, and suddenly you're transported into a world where tequila meets theatre, where dining becomes dancing, and where every corner tells a different story. That's Tonteria for you. We've carved out a space that refuses to be pigeonholed—part Mexican cantina, part underground club, part theatrical dining experience. The interiors? Think Day of the Dead meets haute couture, with velvet banquettes, skull motifs, and lighting that shifts from intimate amber to full-on fiesta mode. Our tech game is strong—professional DJ setups, crystal-clear sound systems, and all the practical bits you need (yes, we've got Wi-Fi that actually works). The kitchen team can whip up everything from canapés to full Mexican feasts, though you're welcome to bring your own DJ if you've got someone special in mind. We're fully licensed, wheelchair accessible, and there's even a cloakroom for when things get properly festive. Hotels nearby? Plenty—because let's face it, nobody's driving home after our margaritas. Corporate launches, birthday blowouts, ticketed club nights—we've hosted them all and then some. What makes us different? While other Sloane Square spots play it safe with champagne and chandeliers, we're serving mezcal with a side of mischief. Drop us a line and let's plan something your crowd will still be talking about next year.
