The old cast iron pillars tell stories from when this building was purely industrial, but now they frame something entirely different at U7 Lounge. Our 1,000+ square foot space transforms throughout the day – morning coffee runs fuel laptop work at hot desks, while evenings see the same space come alive with birthday celebrations and corporate gatherings. We've kept the bones of the building intact on Orsman Road. That industrial lift? We turned it into a bar that gets plenty of compliments. The original architecture creates this jazz-influenced atmosphere that feels like discovering a hidden spot, even though we're right between Hackney and Shoreditch, just across the Regent's Canal from Haggerston Overground. Our open-plan layout works brilliantly for both sides of our personality. During office hours, you'll find superfast broadband and plug sockets everywhere you need them. When evening rolls around, we fire up the DJ booth, pull down the projector screen, and open up our fully stocked bar. The commercial kitchen means we can handle everything from working lunches to wedding canapés – we do our own burgers and wings, but you're welcome to bring in external caterers too. The outdoor space by the canal gives people somewhere to catch their breath during busy events. We can fit 250 people standing or seat 150 comfortably, and the whole space is wheelchair accessible with gender-neutral toilets – everyone's welcome here. Whether you're planning a product launch, booking hot desks for your team, throwing a milestone birthday, or organizing a blogger meetup, we've got the flexibility to make it work. The building's industrial past mixed with our modern setup creates something that works just as well for morning meetings as it does for midnight celebrations.
