Standing on Lupton Street, Stringer House has become a go-to meeting space for organizations across Leeds. We're part of Voluntary Action Leeds, and every booking here helps support voluntary groups throughout the city. Our three meeting rooms each have their own character. The Hunslet Room is our largest, fitting 30 people comfortably with a large TV screen for presentations and built-in conferencing facilities. Need more flexibility? The Chapeltown Room next door seats 16 and connects directly to the Hunslet through an adjoining door - perfect when groups need breakout space. The Armley Room works brilliantly for smaller teams of up to 12, with its distinctive internal window overlooking our central atrium bringing in natural light throughout the day. Speaking of the atrium, we open it when groups need theatre-style seating for up to 60 people. It's become popular for community presentations and larger gatherings. Every room comes equipped with a smart TV, plus we've invested in proper hybrid meeting technology - no extra charges for conference phones or video calls. We know how frustrating tech issues can be, so everything's set up ready to use. There's complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the building, and flipcharts in each space for those who prefer working old-school. Between sessions, people tend to gather in our informal break-out areas or help themselves to refreshments in the self-serve kitchen. We've noticed these spaces often spark the best conversations. And unlike central Leeds venues, we offer abundant free parking right outside - a real bonus for anyone driving in for meetings or training sessions. Whether you're running staff training, hosting client presentations, or bringing together community groups, our spaces adapt to what you need.
