Our Live Room has become the beating heart of The Stag's Head, where bands have been testing their sound against these walls since we first opened the doors to performers decades ago. Walk past the mix of vintage sofas and wooden chairs, and you'll find our compact stage backed by that distinctive stag's head design we're known for. The sound system here punches well above its weight, filling every corner of the room whether you're hosting 62 for a seated dinner or packing in 100 guests for a standing reception. Musicians who play here often tell us they're surprised by the acoustics, something we've carefully preserved through years of subtle improvements. The projector and flatscreen TV tuck away discreetly when not needed, but they're there for those corporate presentations or video montages at birthday parties. We've seen this room transform from morning pitch meetings to evening celebrations, sometimes in the same day. The whiteboard still bears faint traces of startup brainstorms and wedding table plans from events past. Being so close to Haggerston Station means your guests won't struggle to find us, and there's both paid parking nearby and free spots on the surrounding streets. We can work with your chosen caterers or recommend some of our favourites who know the space well. Bring your own playlist, hire a DJ, or use the stage for live music, though we do ask that things wind down by 11pm out of respect for our neighbours.
