About The Stag's Head
Step through the heavy wooden doors of The Stag's Head and you'll find yourself in a proper East London pub that's been serving the community since 1856. We've kept the original brick fireplaces that warm the place up on cold nights, and out back, our beer garden gives you a proper green space right in the heart of the city. Our live room and stage have seen everything from thundering rock bands to smooth jazz quartets over the years. During summer weekends, we move the music outside – DJs spin in the garden while singers perform under the string lights. The sound quality in our live room is something we're particularly proud of, and bands always comment on how good their sets sound here. Behind the bar, we pour a carefully chosen selection of draught beers and mix cocktails that go beyond the usual pub offerings. Our kitchen turns out proper food throughout the week, but Sunday roast is when we really shine – it's become something of a local tradition. We're happy to welcome dogs and kids, so nobody has to miss out on the fun. The space works brilliantly for private parties and corporate events too. We can transform the live room for your celebration, keeping that authentic pub atmosphere while giving you the run of the place. The stage and sound system are yours to use however you like – we've hosted everything from birthday bands to company presentations.
