About Screening Room
125 Banquet
The deep purple velvet seats and intimate sofas of our Screening Room create an atmosphere where film premieres become celebrations and corporate events transform into theatrical experiences. We've preserved the original Edwardian character while adding contemporary comfort—think footrests on every seat, side tables for your champagne, and that warm red lighting that makes everyone look their best in photos. Your 125 guests can spread across our mix of standard cinema seats and couples' sofas, each positioned with perfect sightlines to both our stage and massive screen. We've hosted everything from wedding receptions where newlyweds screen their love story to product launches that use our Sony 4K Digital projection to showcase brands in stunning detail. The stage beneath the screen has welcomed DJs spinning until midnight, CEOs delivering keynote speeches, and bands continuing the musical legacy that started when The Clash played here in the '70s. Our dedicated bar runs along the back wall, meaning cocktails and canapés flow throughout your event without anyone missing the action. The cinema-grade acoustics ensure your playlist sounds incredible, speeches carry to the back row, and live performances fill the room without overwhelming conversation. Our gourmet kitchen can craft menus delivered directly to seats or arranged as grazing stations, working around your event's rhythm. Angel Tube Station sits just minutes away, with Upper Street's restaurants and bars offering natural gathering spots before or after your event. Our projection capabilities include both 35mm film and cutting-edge digital formats, so whether you're screening a classic movie, displaying presentations, or creating video backdrops for performances, we have the technical expertise to bring your vision to life. The Screening Room combines the magic of cinema with the flexibility your party needs.
