Every summer, we transform The Walks, our five-acre private gardens that Sir Francis Bacon laid out in 1608, into something extraordinary. Behind those impressive iron gates, our Marquee rises among the lawns and mature trees, creating a sophisticated venue that brings the outside in through its clear roof panels. The space works brilliantly for summer parties and wedding receptions. We've installed proper hard flooring with carpeting throughout, so your guests won't be sinking into grass in their heels. The clear roof means you're flooded with natural light during afternoon drinks receptions, then as evening falls, our ambient lighting system takes over to create the perfect party atmosphere. With capacity for 600 standing guests or 250 seated for dinner, we can handle everything from intimate wedding breakfasts to major corporate celebrations. Our built-in stage and dedicated dance floor anchor one end of the Marquee, complete with a professional PA system and microphones for speeches or live entertainment. The fully serviced bar runs along one side, staffed by our experienced team who know exactly how to keep drinks flowing at large events. We've furnished the space with comfortable lounge seating areas where guests can escape the dance floor for quieter conversations, all surrounded by views of our historic gardens. The practical details matter at events this size. Our luxury toilet facilities come with attendants throughout your event, and we operate a staffed cloakroom so nobody has to worry about their belongings. Just a short walk from Chancery Lane station, guests find us easily accessible despite the tranquil garden setting. Available during June and July, the Marquee offers something genuinely special, a proper outdoor venue with all the infrastructure of an indoor space, set within gardens that have remained virtually unchanged for four centuries.

The place is fantastic! very old English. Meeting room was great for the training. The not so good is the signposting (there is none). Tricky to find you way into the place.
