The Argyll Room and Terrace opens directly onto Hyde Park through our west-facing windows, bringing the park's changing seasons right into your celebration. We've watched countless couples exchange vows here, with golden afternoon light streaming through the elegant bow windows and illuminating the intricate gold leaf detailing that runs along our Edwardian ceiling. Our private terrace transforms wedding receptions throughout the year. In summer, guests spill out with champagne in hand, taking in the park views while canapés circulate. Come autumn, we switch on the heating and add soft blankets, creating a cosy atmosphere as leaves turn golden across Hyde Park. The terrace has become such a favourite spot for wedding photographs that our events team now builds extra time into timelines specifically for terrace portraits. Inside, the parquet flooring has witnessed first dances spanning generations, while the grand columns frame dining tables beautifully. We can arrange seating for 120 guests for your wedding breakfast, or create space for 200 to mingle during evening celebrations. The room's proportions work particularly well for ceremonies too, with natural acoustics that carry vows clearly to guests seated in our theatre-style arrangement for 100. Blue Strawberry, our caterers, understand wedding menus need to reflect your story. They'll work with you to create dishes that suit your style, whether that's a formal five-course dinner or relaxed sharing platters. Their kitchen handles dietary requirements seamlessly, from kosher and halal options to plant-based menus that genuinely impress.
