The Medal Room holds court on the first floor of Armoury House, where rows of military medals line the walls in glass cases, each one a fragment of British military history. Natural light pours through tall windows overlooking our historic grounds, illuminating the polished wooden boardroom table that seats 24 comfortably. We've hosted everything from quarterly board meetings to diplomatic briefings in this space, and the feedback remains consistent: there's something about conducting business surrounded by these medals that adds gravitas to any discussion. The room adapts well beyond boardroom configurations. Remove the central table and we can accommodate 45 in theatre style for presentations, or arrange for 30 guests at round tables for working lunches. During evening receptions, up to 50 people can network comfortably, drinks in hand, often pausing to examine the medal displays between conversations. Original chandeliers cast warm light across the high ceilings when daylight fades, maintaining the room's refined atmosphere into evening sessions. The first-floor location provides a sense of removal from street level, though Moorgate station remains just two minutes' walk away, with Old Street equally accessible for those approaching from the north. Our catering partnership with Searcys extends to every meeting room, from morning coffee service to formal three-course lunches.
