About Irish Whiskey Museum
Our Edwardian building at 119 Grafton Street has been telling the story of Irish whiskey since we opened our doors. Right across from Trinity College's main entrance, we've created something special here at the Irish Whiskey Museum - a place where the past meets the present in every glass raised. We've designed our spaces to work for different occasions. The Café Bar and Reception Area flows naturally into conversation spaces, while our Victorian Bar keeps the original wood panels and period details that make people stop and look around. The Shebeen brings you into old Dublin with its intimate corners, and the Apothecary showcases historic bottles behind glass cases that catch the light. Our Renaissance Room works beautifully for seated dinners, and the Tasting Bar is where we pour our featured whiskeys at the copper-topped counter. Every event here starts with our guided tour through the museum. We walk you through centuries of whiskey-making, past the copper stills and oak barrels, sharing stories that bring the exhibits to life. Your guests then settle in for a tasting of three specially selected Irish whiskeys - we explain the differences, the distilleries, the flavors that make each one distinct. Our spaces hold anywhere from small groups to 120 guests across two floors. We have Wi-Fi throughout, AV equipment ready to connect, and our kitchen can prepare everything from canapés to full meals. Corporate groups book us for client entertainment and team celebrations, couples transform our rooms for wedding receptions, and we've hosted everything from product launches to holiday parties. Getting here couldn't be easier - buses, DART, LUAS and taxis all stop nearby, with several car parks within walking distance. We work with you to customize packages that fit what you're planning, making sure the whiskey museum experience becomes part of your celebration.
