Our basement dining room seats up to 60 guests across two levels, creating intimate corners for smaller gatherings or opening up completely for larger celebrations. We source everything from Scotland's farms, fields, lochs and shores - working directly with local producers who share our commitment to sustainable practices. Our kitchen builds each dish around what's arriving fresh that week, whether it's hand-dived scallops from the West Coast or wild mushrooms foraged from Perthshire forests. The signature "Taste of Scotland" tasting menu takes you through these landscapes course by course, though we're equally happy crafting bespoke menus for private events. Sunday through Thursday, we waive venue hire charges entirely when you book the whole restaurant. Our team works with you to select wines that complement your chosen menu, adjusting selections to match your budget without compromising on quality. We've hosted everything from corporate dinners to wedding receptions, and yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome to join their humans at our tables. The space itself feels both grand and intimate - the original stone walls and architectural details from the printing press days create a sense of history, while our contemporary furnishings keep things comfortable and relaxed.
