The cricket pavilion windows frame Worcester Cathedral perfectly as we prepare for another busy day at Worcestershire County Cricket Club's New Road venue. We've hosted everything from board meetings to wedding receptions here, and each event takes advantage of our unique position between the historic cricket ground and the River Severn. Our newest addition, The View, spans five storeys with two floors dedicated to events. Business groups particularly appreciate the LCD projectors and plasma TVs we've installed in each space, along with complimentary Wi-Fi throughout. The building has full disabled access, making it comfortable for all guests. The Graeme Hick Pavilion remains our most requested space for larger gatherings. Those floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the pitch create quite an impression - we can accommodate up to 200 guests here, with our PA system and projector screens already in place. For summer parties and weddings, the Chestnut Marquee offers the same 200-person capacity with its own private bar and seating area. We've noticed smaller companies often prefer our meeting rooms, each opening onto private balconies where delegates can take coffee breaks while watching matches below. Our catering team works from the on-site kitchen, preparing everything from working lunches to three-course dinners based on what each client needs. Parking never becomes an issue - we have ample free spaces for all attendees. Whether you're planning a corporate conference, wedding celebration, or private party for up to 300 guests, our events team handles the logistics while you focus on your occasion.
