Our marquee at Ardgour House brings Highland celebrations to life with its graceful white canvas stretching across the estate's manicured lawns. Standing beneath the soaring peaked ceiling, you'll find yourself in a space that marries Georgian elegance with the wild beauty of Fort William's countryside, where Ben Nevis watches over your festivities through those grand arched windows. We've dressed the interior to reflect Scotland's heritage, with round tables wrapped in crisp white linens and chairs tied with traditional tartan sashes, a detail our wedding parties particularly love. Pink floral arrangements dot each table, their soft tones complementing the natural light that streams through during afternoon receptions. The wooden bar tucked into the corner keeps drinks flowing smoothly, whether you're toasting newlyweds or raising glasses for a significant birthday. The space comfortably hosts 60 for seated dining or expands to welcome 80 guests for drinks receptions. Many couples choose to exchange vows on our grounds before moving inside, while others prefer the intimacy of ceremonies within the marquee itself, complete with that ceremonial red carpet entrance. The open sides mean guests can wander between the marquee and gardens, perhaps spotting deer grazing nearby as evening approaches. Being part of the main house means your party can flow between spaces, from pre-dinner drinks by the drawing room fireplace to late-night billiards tournaments.
