The 3 Foyle Rooms spread across Turner Contemporary's upper floor, where the North Sea fills every window from floor to ceiling. We've watched countless events transform this space – from wedding receptions where guests spill onto the private terrace at sunset, to corporate conferences that pause mid-presentation as everyone turns to watch the tide change colour. Our largest configuration welcomes 200 standing guests, though most wedding parties prefer the intimacy of round tables for 120, where everyone gets those sea views. The room divides into three sections using soundproof partitions, so your drinks reception can flow in one area while the band sets up next door. We regularly host everything from product launches to charity galas, with the flexibility to arrange banquet tables, theatre seating for 120, or classroom layouts for 72. The private terrace runs the length of the rooms, accessed through glass doors that stay open during summer parties. Our built-in projectors and screens disappear into the ceiling when you don't need them, while electric blinds control the natural light for daytime presentations. The PA system handles wedding bands as easily as conference speakers, and our technical team stays on hand to adjust sound levels throughout your event. Working with local caterers, we serve everything from canapés on the terrace to three-course wedding breakfasts. The bar stays open as long as you need, with our alcohol licence covering the entire space. Margate station sits 10 minutes' walk away, with direct trains from London St Pancras taking 90 minutes. Our goods lift and level access throughout means every guest can enjoy the space comfortably. Between dancing or presentations, your guests often wander downstairs to explore our current exhibitions – we can arrange private gallery tours or creative workshops with our education team as part of your event programme.
