The Captain's Table sits on our first floor, where the Thames stretches out through those enormous windows like a living painting. Yesterday, a marketing team held their quarterly review here, and I watched them abandon their PowerPoint halfway through just to watch a historic tall ship sail past. That's the thing about this room, it keeps surprising you. We've set up the space around a gorgeous wooden table that seats 28 for dinner parties or 25 when you need everyone facing the same direction for presentations. Those blue velvet chairs aren't just for show either, they're properly comfortable for those long strategy sessions or leisurely celebration lunches. The hanging Edison bulbs cast this warm glow that makes everyone look good in photos, and the plants dotted around add life without getting in anyone's way. For corporate events, we've got everything sorted: 70-inch smart TV that actually connects to your laptop without drama, proper PA system for speeches, and WiFi that doesn't drop out when everyone's streaming. The air conditioning keeps things comfortable even when discussions get heated.
