I never thought I'd find myself managing events at a venue called The Oyster Shed, but here we are—and what a find it's been. Right on the Thames with these massive windows that make you feel like you're floating on the river itself. Last month we had a product launch here, and halfway through the CEO's speech, a Thames Clipper went past. Everyone just stopped and watched. Turned what could have been another corporate presentation into something people actually remembered. The space works brilliantly for all sorts. We've done everything from startup pitch nights to 50th birthday bashes. The AV setup is proper professional—none of that faffing about with adaptors and dead microphones. Kitchen's fully equipped too, so whether you're bringing in caterers or just keeping the prosecco cold, you're sorted. Getting here's dead easy—couple of minutes from Cannon Street, even less from Monument. Though I always tell people to walk along the river from London Bridge if they've got time. Sets the mood perfectly. And yes, before you ask, we can handle your Spotify playlist or get a proper DJ in. Had a law firm do their summer party here with a jazz quartet. Classy. The Oyster Shed works because it doesn't try too hard. It's just a great space in an unbeatable spot. If you want your next event to feel a bit special without going full black-tie, give us a shout.
