The **Film Studio** transforms from creative workspace to party venue with surprising ease. We've watched DJs set up against our matte black walls, using the acoustics that make this space brilliant for recording to create something entirely different after dark. Those thick warehouse walls mean the sound stays contained, and you can really turn up the volume without worrying about the neighbours. Our floor-to-ceiling blackout curtains do more than control lighting for shoots, they create an instant atmosphere when you want to transform the space for evening events. We've hosted everything from wrap parties where the Hollywood flats became makeshift bars, to birthday celebrations where guests posed against our collection of Colorama backgrounds. That green screen gets plenty of use at parties too, becoming the backdrop for some genuinely hilarious photo opportunities. The space comfortably holds 50 people standing, giving everyone room to move around without feeling cramped. Our black studio flooring handles spilled drinks better than you'd expect, and the modern shelving unit with plants adds a bit of life to the industrial feel. The colourful chairs scattered around give people spots to catch their breath between dancing. Practical bits matter for parties too. The kitchen area keeps drinks cold and provides space for catering setup, while our freshly ground coffee becomes surprisingly popular towards the end of the night. Wi-Fi keeps the playlist streaming, and the projector works brilliantly for displaying visuals or embarrassing photos of the birthday person. Air conditioning keeps things comfortable even when the dance floor heats up. Four free parking spaces right outside make arrival simple, and ground-level access means no one's struggling with stairs after a few drinks. We're just off Wilmslow Road in South Manchester, easy to find and with plenty of late-night transport options nearby.
