Our Exclusive Use option transforms The Old Lodge into your private wedding venue for the entire celebration. This arrangement gives you and your guests complete access to our 17th-century manor house and over 3 acres of manicured gardens throughout your special day. The main reception space accommodates 56 guests for seated dining or extends to 90 for evening receptions. Period features define the room, where original wood paneling meets carefully positioned chandeliers and wall sconces that cast a warm glow across the space. Large windows frame views of our Yorkshire gardens while flooding the room with natural light during daytime celebrations. We configure the space according to your vision, whether that means round tables dressed in crisp white linens for your wedding breakfast or rows of chairs adorned with colored sashes for your ceremony. The flexible layout connects seamlessly with our outdoor terrace, allowing guests to move freely between indoor elegance and garden views. Beyond the main reception room, exclusive use includes access to our Jacobean Hall with its impressive fireplace and the Forever Folly garden pavilion, both offering distinctive settings for ceremonies or photographs. Our Grade II listed building provides countless corners for memorable moments, from intimate conversations in wood-paneled alcoves to group photos on the manor's historic steps. With 21 en-suite rooms in the main house plus 8 additional rooms in our renovated nearby property, your wedding party can stay together without the journey home. Our kitchen team creates menus using Yorkshire's finest ingredients, while our experienced coordinators handle every detail from ceremony timing to evening entertainment.
