Gathering your favourite people in one magnificent Georgian manor for an entire weekend celebration transforms everything about hosting a party. When you book the Whole Venue at Colehayes Park, we hand over the keys to our Grade II listed property, 20 acres of private Dartmoor woodland, and the freedom to create exactly the celebration you've been imagining. Picture your guests arriving down our tree-lined drive, catching their first glimpse of the manor house through ancient oaks. The property sleeps up to 75 people across the main house, with Cork Tree Cottage adding beds for 11 more, meaning your whole party can stay together. Morning coffee on the terrace overlooking our private lake, afternoon drinks under the gazebo, evening feasts in rooms lit by original chandeliers, we've watched countless celebrations unfold across these spaces. Our outdoor ceremony areas work beautifully for up to 90 seated guests, perhaps arranged on the lawn with colourful chairs or rustic hay bales. The gazebo makes a romantic focal point, while views stretch across Dartmoor's rolling hills. For dining, set long tables on the manicured lawns for up to 150 people, or bring in a marquee if British weather has other plans. Inside, our dining room seats 80 comfortably, with period features and vintage bunting adding character. We operate as a DIY venue, which means you choose your own caterers, bring whatever drinks you fancy (no corkage charges here), and decorate however suits your style. Our fully equipped kitchen supports self-catering or professional teams, while our private bar becomes a natural gathering point as celebrations continue into the night. Five different spaces hold ceremony licenses, from the formal drawing room to garden spots with countryside views. The combination of Georgian architecture, Dartmoor's dramatic landscape, and complete control over every detail creates something genuinely special at Colehayes Park.
