The Austen Suite opens straight onto our gardens, and this connection between inside and outside makes every wedding here feel special. We recently created this more intimate space by partitioning our larger function room, giving couples who prefer smaller celebrations their own dedicated area with its own character. Natural light fills the room through generous windows, catching on the crisp white table linens we dress each round table with. Our standard setup includes those sleek chair covers that photograph beautifully, and we work with local florists to create centerpieces that complement your chosen colors. The soft palette of the walls means whatever theme you choose, from romantic pastels to bold jewel tones, works perfectly in here. For ceremonies, we can arrange the space theatre-style for up to 40 guests, then quickly reconfigure for your wedding breakfast. Most couples choose our banquet layout for 50, though we often set up cabaret style for 30 when they want more space for mingling between courses. The flexibility means whether you're planning a traditional sit-down meal or something more relaxed with food stations, we can make it work. The technical bits are all sorted: our PA system handles ceremony music and speeches equally well, the projector works brilliantly for photo montages during dinner, and the air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable even in August. Being just minutes from transport links helps your guests, while our free parking takes away that usual wedding day stress. What couples particularly love is how the garden access changes the whole feel of the day. During drinks receptions, guests naturally flow between the Austen Suite and the gardens, and those golden hour portraits with our mature trees as backdrop are something else. Inside or out, the Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected for sharing those immediate moments.
