Our Town Hall chamber has welcomed countless celebrations since 1871, its Victorian character carefully preserved through recent restoration work. White-covered chairs arranged beneath the ornate chandelier create an elegant setting for up to 50 guests, while natural light pours through the tall windows, illuminating the intricate wall patterns and architectural details that make this space so distinctive. The grand fireplace commands attention at one end of the room, its mantelpiece topped with an impressive mirror that reflects light throughout the chamber. We've found this creates a particularly romantic atmosphere for wedding ceremonies, with many couples choosing to exchange vows here before moving their celebration into the Mayor's Parlour or out to our gardens for photographs. The chamber works beautifully for intimate celebrations beyond weddings too. Birthday parties, anniversary gatherings, and special occasions all benefit from the room's refined atmosphere. The theatre-style seating arrangement gives everyone clear views, though we can discuss alternative layouts to suit your specific celebration. Our location in Raunds, Wellingborough NN9 6LT offers straightforward access, with 50 parking spaces including disabled bays available free of charge. The building has full disabled access throughout, including accessible facilities and nappy changing areas.
