About Raunds Town Council
We're excited to share that Raunds Town Council provides two wonderful party venues right here at The Hall on Thorpe Street in Raunds, Wellingborough NN9 6LT. Our historic Town Hall brings a touch of Victorian elegance to celebrations, while Saxon Hall offers modern flexibility for larger gatherings. The Town Hall chamber dates from 1871 and has been lovingly refurbished to create an intimate space that holds up to 50 guests. Many couples choose this beautiful room for their civil ceremonies, then move their celebrations into our Mayor's Parlour or out into the Town Hall gardens. The gardens make a particularly lovely backdrop for photographs, especially during spring and summer parties. Saxon Hall sits right next door and gives us the flexibility to host much bigger celebrations. We've got three halls that work brilliantly on their own or can be opened up together when you need more space. Birthday parties, wedding receptions, anniversary celebrations – we've seen it all here. The venue includes two meeting rooms if you need somewhere quieter during your event, plus both community and commercial kitchens so catering is never a problem. Our facilities make party planning straightforward. Free Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected, we've got disabled access throughout including nappy changing facilities, and there's a private car park with 50 spaces including two disabled bays. We know how important these practical details are when you're organizing a celebration. We keep our pricing competitive and work with you to configure the spaces exactly how you need them.
