Our marble-topped bar catches everyone off guard when they first walk in. People expect a typical cinema foyer, but what they find is this Art Deco gem with its curved ceiling and gold plasterwork that dates back to 1913. We've watched countless birthday celebrations unfold here, with guests mingling between the teal bar stools and leather sofas before their private screening begins. The space transforms depending on what you need. Corporate clients often arrange the room cabaret-style for 80 people, using our screens for presentations before switching to cocktails at the bar. Wedding parties love how the parquet floors and pendant lighting create that intimate atmosphere for their reception drinks. We can fit 120 standing guests comfortably, and the flow between the bar and our two screening rooms works beautifully for events that combine socialising with film. Our bartenders know their craft. They'll mix bespoke cocktails while your guests browse the wine list or try one of the rotating local beers we keep on tap. The DJ booth gets plenty of use too, especially for birthday parties where the celebration continues long after the credits roll. We've seen fashion brands use it for product launch afterparties, and charity fundraisers turn the whole space into a dance floor once their documentary screening wraps up. The screening rooms themselves offer something special. Our main auditorium seats 82 in proper cinema armchairs, while the smaller screen creates an intimate setting with just 27 seats, including those six plush sofas that everyone fights over. Both rooms handle everything from vintage 35mm film to the latest digital formats, and yes, you can absolutely choose what film plays for your birthday screening. Homerton Overground station sits just minutes away, making it simple for your guests to find us in East London.
