Sunlight streams through the ancient doorway of The Tithe Barn, our cherished 16th-century Tudor treasure that has witnessed countless celebrations within its weathered walls. This remarkable space combines the raw beauty of exposed timber beams with thoughtful modern touches we've carefully woven throughout the barn over the years. Walking into the barn, couples often pause to take in the soaring ceiling heights and the play of light across original woodwork. We've strung delicate fairy lights along the beams, creating a soft glow that transforms as day turns to evening. The space comfortably hosts 150 guests for drinks and canapés, or 110 for a seated wedding breakfast, with long banquet tables that run the length of the barn, dressed with crystal candelabras and seasonal flowers from local suppliers. The barn flows naturally into distinct areas, each serving its purpose during your celebration. Our bar sits in its own dedicated space, keeping service smooth while guests enjoy toasts and speeches. Through the oak doors, you'll find our private courtyard garden, a peaceful spot where wedding parties often steal away for group photos or a quiet moment between festivities. As evening approaches, the disco end of the barn comes alive. We've installed proper sound systems and lighting here, where chandeliers cast dancing shadows as guests celebrate into the night. The barn stays comfortable year-round thanks to climate control, and yes, the Wi-Fi reaches every corner for those inevitable social media moments. Getting here couldn't be simpler, with Maidenhead station nearby and the River Thames just a short stroll away.
