The Discovery Centre opens straight onto wildflower meadows at the entrance to our Tudor ruins, where twelve people can gather around our boardroom table for focused discussions. We've set this space up to feel different from your usual meeting room - the 80" screen on the wall handles all your presentation needs, while proper speakers ensure everyone catches every word, whether you're running training sessions or strategic planning days. Our team prepares each place with paper, pens and glassware before you arrive, and we keep the refreshment station stocked with tea, coffee, juice and biscuits throughout your booking. The separate reception area works brilliantly when people are arriving or during those informal catch-up moments between sessions. When you need extra space, the turret house provides an excellent breakout room for smaller group work. What makes The Discovery Centre particularly effective is how the doors open directly into our grounds. Teams often spill outside during breaks to continue conversations amongst the flower meadows, or we can arrange outdoor activities that complement your indoor sessions. Our venue sits just five minutes from Sheffield city centre with free parking onsite, so getting here is straightforward for everyone. The Rhubarb Shed Café manages all our catering, from working lunches to afternoon refreshments, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options always available.
