Somerset hills stretch endlessly from the windows of Perrott Hill School, where we've been hosting weddings since opening our doors to couples looking for something beyond the typical hotel venue. Our Victorian manor house, built in the 19th century and designed by Thomas Henry Wyatt, stands as a Grade II* listed building that brings genuine historical character to wedding celebrations. We're spread across 28 acres of grounds and woodland, giving wedding parties plenty of space for both intimate moments and larger celebrations. The heart of our venue is Grundy Hall, with its original architectural details intact, while our grand staircase creates those dramatic photo opportunities couples are always seeking. Beyond the main house, we've developed facilities that work beautifully for different parts of the wedding day - our 250-seat theatre transforms into an atmospheric ceremony space, while the sports hall handles evening receptions with ease. Our eco-build Music School adds another dimension, with its recital room serving as a quieter space for drinks receptions or smaller ceremonies. The practice rooms work well for bridal preparation areas. During summer weddings, guests often gravitate toward our outdoor pool area for photographs, and the tennis courts and floodlit astro provide entertainment for weekend wedding parties. We handle weddings differently here - you can book just the spaces you need, or we'll coordinate everything including catering and floristry. Our Forest School area creates a natural setting for outdoor ceremonies when weather permits. Each wedding unfolds across different parts of our estate, from morning preparations in the manor house to evening celebrations under the stars. The combination of our Victorian architecture, modern facilities, and Somerset countryside location gives couples flexibility in designing their day while our team ensures everything runs smoothly from arrival to departure.
