Über M Shed
This old transit shed has quite a story. Built in the '50s to move cargo around Bristol's docks, it now hosts some of the city's most interesting events. We kept the best bits - those soaring ceilings, the industrial bones of the building - and added what modern events need. Take our top floor Event Suite. The harbour views are genuinely spectacular (especially at sunset), and the space itself can shift from conference layout to cocktail party in about an hour. Studios 1 and 2 downstairs offer more intimate settings, though "intimate" is relative - we're still talking about rooms that can handle 100+ people. Our lighting designer had fun with the LED system; you can paint these spaces any colour you fancy. Practically speaking, we've covered the essentials: AV that event producers actually compliment, bars on each floor (fully licensed, naturally), and our catering team who know their way around everything from breakfast meetings to wedding feasts. We're licensed for ceremonies too, if that's your thing. The whole building has lift access, and yes, you can bring in your own DJ or band - the acoustics are surprisingly good. Bristol's harbourside has transformed in recent years, and we like to think M Shed played a part in that. Whether you're planning a product launch, company away-day, or proper party, we've got the space and know-how to make it happen.
