Deep in the railway arches beneath Temple Meads station, The Loco Klub transforms Bristol's industrial heritage into an extraordinary party venue. We've peeled back decades of flock wallpaper to reveal Brunel's original Victorian brickwork, creating atmospheric tunnels that pulse with energy during our club nights and live music events. Our main space, the Ash Pits, stretches through a series of interconnected arches where the curved ceilings amplify sound in ways purpose-built venues can't replicate. When we host immersive theatre productions, performers emerge from shadowy alcoves and the whole underground network becomes part of the show. For corporate parties, these same tunnels offer something genuinely different from standard conference venues - your guests won't forget celebrating in a piece of railway history. The Social Club area brings a completely different energy with its vaudeville-style bar and intimate studio theatre setup. We've kept the character of the old railway workers' social club while opening it up for contemporary celebrations. During warmer months, our beer garden offers breathing space with direct views up to Temple Meads' clock tower - a proper Bristol landmark watching over your event. We've made sure everyone can enjoy our spaces with step-free access throughout and accessible toilet facilities.
