The Library, Top Bar and Terrace combines three distinct areas that flow together beautifully for parties of 12 to 100 guests. Rich wooden floors guide you from the library section, where leather chairs cluster around solid tables beneath exposed ceiling beams, through to our long wooden bar that becomes the natural heart of any celebration. We've kept the original brick fireplace and added carefully chosen vintage photographs that tell stories of Newcastle's past. The bar itself stretches along one wall, topped with pendant lights that cast a warm glow across the polished wood surface. High stools line the counter for those who prefer to perch with a pint of our City Tavern Ale, while the mix of seating throughout gives your guests options, whether they want to settle into conversation or stay mobile and mingle. The terrace transforms the experience when weather permits. We've strung festoon lights overhead and arranged planters to create an outdoor room that feels both open and intimate. It works brilliantly as a cooling-off space during lively parties or as the main event area for summer celebrations. The indoor and outdoor spaces connect naturally, so your party can expand and contract as the evening develops.
