The George Payne's Upper Bar Area sits tucked away above the main pub, where vintage armchairs mix with wooden bar stools to create the perfect party backdrop. We've watched countless celebrations unfold in this space, from surprise 30th birthdays to golden wedding anniversaries, each one bringing its own energy to our eclectic mix of artwork and quirky wall decorations. Natural light pours through the large windows during afternoon gatherings, catching the colourful pieces that line our walls. We can accommodate up to 50 guests for drinks and mingling, or arrange seating for 33 if you're planning a sit-down celebration. Our bar takes centre stage here, stocked with those ever-changing ales and craft beers we're known for, plus all the spirits and mixers your party might need. The chalkboard menus showcase our seasonal offerings, though for larger gatherings we often arrange bespoke buffet spreads that keep everyone well-fed without interrupting the flow of conversation.
