We've hosted countless celebrations beneath our magnificent glass cupola dome, and each time guests enter the Brasserie, they pause to take in Pietro Agostini's architectural masterpiece soaring above. Natural light pours through the historic dome throughout the day, transforming the atmosphere from bright morning gatherings to atmospheric evening parties, while our circular bar wrapped in rich green leather creates a natural gathering point at the heart of the space. The former banking hall accommodates your celebrations with remarkable flexibility, seating 140 guests for formal dinners or welcoming up to 350 for cocktail receptions. Dark leather banquettes line the walls beneath towering windows, while classic wooden chairs surround tables dressed in crisp white linens. The high ceilings create exceptional acoustics, allowing conversation to flow naturally even when the room buzzes with 300 guests raising glasses during a product launch or birthday celebration. Our Executive Chef Robin Freeman and Mark Hix MBE have designed menus that showcase British ingredients with European flair, prepared fresh in our kitchens seven days a week. The bar team crafts cocktails using seasonal ingredients, while our wine selection spans both classic and contemporary choices. Modern amenities blend seamlessly with period features, including discreet projectors for presentations and robust Wi-Fi that handles everything from video streaming to social sharing. The Grade II-listed banking hall adds gravitas to corporate gatherings and romance to wedding receptions alike. Where Victorian clerks once worked beneath the dome, we now coordinate everything from champagne receptions to charity galas. Our events team has refined every detail over decades of hosting parties in this space, understanding precisely how to arrange the room for optimal flow, whether you're planning standing canapé service or seated dinners with dancing to follow.
