Our green sanctuary in the heart of historic London offers something quite special for outdoor gatherings. Charterhouse Square welcomes up to 500 guests into a semi-private garden space where wildflower meadows meet manicured lawns, all sheltered by mature trees that have watched over this corner of the city since the mid-14th century. The square sits surrounded by an eclectic mix of architecture, Georgian buildings standing shoulder to shoulder with Art Deco facades, creating a backdrop that feels quintessentially London. We find the space works beautifully for summer parties, wedding receptions, and corporate gatherings where guests appreciate breathing room and natural beauty. The lawns provide plenty of space for mingling, while quieter corners beneath the trees offer spots for more intimate conversations. We give you complete freedom to shape your event here. Bring in your preferred caterers, arrange the bar service you want, and set up your own sound system or DJ. Many hosts take advantage of the flexibility to create garden parties with food stations scattered across the lawns, or elegant evening receptions with string lights woven through the branches. The natural acoustics work well for live music too, though we do ask that amplified sound winds down by 21:30 to maintain good relationships with our neighbours.
