We've been many things since 1348 - a Carthusian monastery, a private mansion, a boys' school - and today we're proud to be both an almshouse and one of central London's most distinctive event venues. Our Great Hall commands attention with its soaring medieval architecture, while the Tudor-era Great Chamber offers a more intimate setting with original wood paneling and period details. The Norfolk Cloister provides a peaceful outdoor space that works beautifully for drinks receptions when the weather cooperates. We can accommodate anything from 20-person board meetings to 400-guest receptions, with each of our spaces offering something different. For corporate meetings, we've equipped our rooms with modern presentation technology while keeping the historic character intact. The atmospheric lighting throughout the building creates just the right mood whether you're hosting a formal dinner or casual networking event. Our team regularly transforms these spaces for weddings, where couples exchange vows in the Great Chamber before moving to the Great Hall for dining and dancing.
